twenty two

Cake time! Well, not quite yet: time, rather to apply the marzipan . . . then icing. The smell when we unwrapped the greaseproof paper was utterly delicious.

Honestly, that sense of pride at opening our cakes after weeks of feeding is wonderful. Thrilled when others share this ritual.
Love your blog. Love my Edinburgh, miss my homeland. Love reading about it in your words. Merry Christmas x

It’s Christmas Eve over here now – Christmas Day is going to be a hot one – 34oC – too hot by far. Just to wish you a Happy Christmas – a white one I believe… Also a big thank you for your blog – which I so enjoy. Reversible Knitting is sitting under the tree waiting to be unwrapped tomorrow morning!!!! So, from Over Here in the Bush the kangaroos, blue wrens, emus and me say Merry Christmas!
