secret rascals!

A very exciting package just turned up. . .

. . . but who sent the secret rascals?

. . . um, it wasn’t me. . .

But who was it, then? Thankyou, whoever you are!

Bruce has already grown from his 1st picture to this one! He is such a handsome young man-dog and they grow so fast. Thanks for sharing him with us!

Whoever it is, what a sweet gesture!! By the way, coming back to the “sadness” post, I got my DLA reply: unsurprisingly I did not get it. I shall appeal because that’s the only way to go. Meanwhile, I finally also got an answer from the MP’s office – they have written to DWP to support my claim and asked them to accept my GP’s notes or to offer me a second medical WITH my medical notes…. We shall see what happens. They also inform me that they are taking the matter further on a more general level and again, we shall see what happens; maybe it’ll turn up at Prime Minister’s Question Time?? Big hugs to you Kate, and enjoy those rascals. Oh and congratulations on your beautiful doggie!

Who knew that something called rascals could look so yummy?!

We have a black labrador/kelpie cross (a foster dog) who we adopted when he was 2 yrs old. We often wonder if he looked like Bruce when he was a pupster. Ours is named Gus, and he certainly knows how to use his looks!

Am looking forward to seeing many more photos of Bruce. He is so gorgeous!

Hope you are having a better week, Kate – although I think those rascals might help.

Oh no, that secret message from ‘kellyandjekel’ previous to this one, I’m afraid I didn’t notice the skewed identity until after I pushed the ‘post’ button. That message is really from me, Jen, in California (who is trying desperately to transform an old attempt at blog under the above name, into a new, blog, with a new purpose~ which is to effortlessly leave you comments (and other wordpress bloggers) that you don’t have to hassle with manually. ~Truly, Jen

I love the way Bruce has already begun being a filter through which you see the world. Dogs do that. Believe me, I was never a dog person until my DH brought home Emma five years ago, and if you look at my blog, she’s everywhere. I see the world through my relationship with Emma. Crazy, but it’s true. Bruce is just a darling toddler of a pup, and those rascals… how lucky is your secret fanclub , to be able to send you things ! I am making apricot jam this very day, from my own tree-ripened apricots from my own secret garden, and would love to send you a secret jar.
You seem well (er) Kate, and know that when rubbish is all around you, that you are still a beacon in many peoples’ lives .

So happy that you received a yummy surprise!

You know, don’t you, that we are out here drooling over Bruce and are so hoping you’ll be posting photos like this exquisite one as often as you can. He is a special boy and he is just what you and Tom deserve (except when he goes and rolls in something foul just when you are busiest or most tired).

The rescales look delicious, but I think could eat Bruce as well. Look at those absolutely adoring eyes – or are they just asking for another sample of your rascal?
