So, if you would like a kit to make your very own BMC, Sheep Carousel, Rams & Yowes & Sheepheid, or Tír Chonaill, then I am pleased to say that my pop up shop is now open. Each kit inlcudes one of these nifty project bags, plus the yarn and pattern booklet for the project. I’ve also got a few project bags for sale on their own. My stock is very limited, but if things sell out quickly, I’m happy to say that you will also be able to purchase the BMC, Sheep Carousel, and Rams & Yowes kits, plus project bags, from my friends over at Jamieson and Smith. Cheers!
ETA: All sold out, and the shop is closed.
All sold out already???
And by the way, what happened to the owl sweater post? That was the most gorgeous sweater I’ve seen in ages!

Hearty Congratulations!!! Now you’ll be running around in a different way, with so many folks chompin’ at the bit to get your kits. And all your overseas groupies will be cheering loudly to the new access to your kits/designs.
Already made my first purchase from your shop, to put my patterns from Ravelry into. Yippee!!!

I am in the USA and would love to make the tea cosy. I hope you will someday make the pattern available for sale as a download. Brilliant work! I purchased purple heathered wool for the Owls sweater and will be embarking on that exciting project soon. Best wishes for your health and happiness!

A bit too late here, as well, to purchase the muted BMC. Adding my request to stock this lovely kit. Thanks!

:( Too late over here in Vancouver Canada to get BMC. I tried Jamieson web page but they do not have it up there yet. Glad to see a post as I “worry” about you when you are away for more than a few days. Will check back on Jamieson later.

Whoa! I thought I got here all fast, and the BMC kit was already gone. Off the J&S I guess… Congrats on your little shop’s success, though! Maybe this means there will more popping-up in the future?

Missed your posts. While I’m not a great knitter, i have enjoyed enormously reading about textiles, culture, knitting generally. I was moved to have a go at colourwork as therapy for a migraine following reading your tutorials. Fancy having a go at the tea-cosy. Congratulations on the shop!

It was lovely to meet you at woolfest, and I am looking forward to making the caller herrin’ hat with a colour combination that will look great. Thanks for your advice. I have to say though that my favourite moment at woolfest was meeting Bruno the sheep who was wonderful. I could have taken him home….

I have just bought the BMC pattern and had great fun choosing my colours from Jaimeson, and now just have to have a little patience till the wool arrives. The weather is perfect for knitting this summer!
By the way, do you ever design jumpers for men?

Congratulations on your new “shop”, Kate……another wonderful step. I think it’s great, and since the cowl kits were already sold out this morning I predict much success for you there. I was happy to be able to place an order for Tir Chonaill……can’t wait!

Good morning from Canada!
Just bought the sheep carousel and BMC. I can’t wait for them to arrive. I was wondering if you would be putting kits together for peerie flooers, both hat and mittens anytime in the future. I have been wanting to make these for some time but gathering the yarns together has kept me from going ahead with it.

Very exciting offers! Kate, what size pot does the Sheep Carousel fit? Thank you.

My original sample fits my 6 cup (20″) pot perfectly – but Mel knit her white-on-moorit sample at a slightly tighter gauge – and this fits nicely on a 4 cup teapot. You can see both samples here:
