Well, I’ve showed you all the designs in the collection, and it is now time for me to enter logistics world. This is a world of franking machines, books, and cardboard boxes and though it is, in its own way, interesting and absorbing, it does not make for particularly fascinating reading. So things may go rather quiet here for a couple of weeks while I am packing and shipping your orders.
I confess that right now I am feeling rather humbled by your support of, and interest in, this book. A massive THANKS to all of you.
If you would like to learn more about Yokes, the book now has its own information page here. For those of you who are interested in the essays and conversations, you’ll find some detail here about the book’s contents. There’s also a link for easy download of your digital copy (just enter the code when your book arrives); links back to information about each design, and a checklist of the design elements and techniques that each pattern involves (which may be useful when considering what to knit).
Thankyou so much, and see you on the other side xxx
‘Yokes’ has arrived last friday – i can’t put it down! Thank you so much for this wonderful book! A great motivation to improve my knitting skills and my English at the same time!
With best wishes from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany!

Hopefully Kate you will get a well earned break at the end of this but it has been truly wonderful to open your emails and follow each yoke design, what has inspired you, the history of the yokes and the other details that you have added in. It has given such a rich perspective to your eagerly awaited book…. *sigh* ….. so much longer a wait to arrive out to downunder Downunder!! Thank you for sharing so much.

I am jumping up & down like a child on Christmas morning but I am mindful that you do not over it. Stop, put your feet up and have a cup of tea every so often, things can wait. The bits you have shown us look beautiful. You have worked very hard already!

I have been following your blog over the weeks with increasing interest. As a result your new book is on my christmas presents wishlist. Having no experience with fair isle/ colour knitting yet, I feel confident enough starting with the less complex poncho you commented a few days ago. Thank you for this journey in the wonderful world of yokes and colourful knitting.
