lovely new shade inspirations. the only thing ‘wrong’ with the first collection was the lack of purple! (says the purple addict)

and the raspberry and gold immediately made me think of Battenburg cake (OK, so i’m a cake addict too!) but that would be a good pattern idea for a hat for one of daughters (also a cake addict).

please miss, how long do we have to wait?

These colours look wonderful! I’m using your wool for the ancient craft, Naalbinding. It is perfect yarn for this. Still have to work out how to change colour though. There’s not much information online, in English..
So have to work it out myself. When can we buy the new colours?

I’m just discovering yellow, especially with grey. This one is particularly stunning. I’m looking forward to a beautiful buchaille pattern to set it off – a cardi, perhaps?

Raspberry, Gorse and Heather lush! Please add “Skye Peat Bog brown” and then you have a nice round 10 colours ;) The number of times I waded through the Cullin peat bogs in my time makes my knees sore thinking about it!

      Hi Lucy,
I’ve checked and it should really work on all devices – what you are seeing is the menu bar (activated by clicking at the top left of the screen) if you click to the right of the screen when opening the page you should be able to see the post?
      best wishes

    Hey Kate, Tom and Bruce,
Here I thought Christmas was other and the best present of all… NEW COLOURS of BUACHAILLE!!! I absolutely can hardly wait…do I have to wait very Long? Are there going to be more fun patterns adding in the New Beauties? How Long did you say it would be? My Heart can’t take all this excitement…I better go knit another pair of Kokkeluri Mitts and 2 or 3 pairs of Pawkies, that should give me plenty to do till the New Colours Arrive! When was that again? (LOL) I was also wondering if you will be designing a Buachaille Sweater for Bruce! I have two wonderful Pups, actually one is mine and one belongs to Our Youngest Son, but they are both deserving of a Big of Buachaille too. Ya’ll are just full of surprises and by the Looks of things, “FUN”, will be the go to word for All Kate’s Fans!
P.S. I hope Bruce has been finally released from the confines of his “Cone Collar”, and is now enjoying a few well deserved romps around the Glens!

I made my sis in law baffies in purple and gray and they looked awesome together! She loves purple so I did the toe in purple and then also as the MC in the pattern. I made the mountains a natural gray.
